The beach in late August was not as wonderful as in May because there were dead corals washed ashore, quite dangerous for the kids, but this place is still our heaven.

Redang Trip - Part 2

Most of my colleague pronounced Redang similar to pedang, the 'Re' part was wrong according to the locals (i.e. me). For those who don't know, Redang shud be pronounced 'rare-dunk' .

Hari sukan yang mendung, right after Hanis abis event dia, mencurah2 hujan.
Organised on borrowed padang. How kesian...even small space kat compound pun dah nak convert to computer lab. Tapi paling kesian is that they have a teacher who shouted 'lembap' to budak darjah 1 juz becoz they missed the 3rd placing !! What a shocking attitude.

We went to our preferred dentist (tell you, he's very good with kids) to remove her bottom front teeth which obviously 'longlai'. She freaked out at first, but less than 10-min, she came out smiling.
Another 2 more to go, the top front teeth is making way to the new gigi kapak arrival. I hope not my size  so here we go....goyaaaang

Sejak2 Hanis dah sekolah, we have to travel during school break which is painful, semua mahal & packed. But our trip to Penang this time around was different. Semua ok, maybe becoz we went towards the end of the week.

We did celebrate her birthday in a proper party-kind-of-thing, but that was yonks ago. Subsequent to that, we only had a small do among family members with a must-have spider web choc cake. Yes, the very same cake year in year out. When she was 5 & 6 we sent some goody bags and again THE cake to her tadika.
As promised, we had another party this year. we ordered the SAME CAKE (again??) but bigger. Happy sungguh dia sbb ada schoolmate yang dtg and the rest as usual la, jiran jemiran, kengkawan ibu + babah
